José Henrotte Engineering building
Energy efficiency was an essential point for this industrial building used for the assembly of electrical panels.
In addition to geothermal and self-generated energy solutions, intelligent lighting management was implemented to allow for additional savings but also for work comfort.
Each room, particularly the assembly workshops and offices, is lit by LED strips or spotlights. They are all controlled by sensors that regulate the brightness of the different rooms. Depending on the amount of light coming into the workshops, the lighting will adapt to keep a constant brightness on each work surface.
The home automation system is also connected to the anti-intrusion alarm system. Arming the system is coupled with the extinction of the lighting. The intrusion will trigger not only the siren but also the lighting of the whole building, inside and outside, in order to repel malicious people. Finally, the building is remotely controllable so that suppliers can be let in after hours and their deposits can be monitored.
